She often acts on impulse and does whatever the hell she wants, and is prone to bubbly laughter. She likes to lift the mood in a place all the time. She has a long fuse to her temper and has a habit of running away from any form of fight because she prefers peace. She will bop people over the head with her drink tray however if they try to fight in the bar. She likes to make other people feel at ease and laugh, making everyone happy and she does this in honor of her father, and for the sake of not making her sister worry about her. She is hiding a slightly scared and hurt girl underneath this persona, still hurt from her mother's death, the way people look at her for her scars, and being raped. Which she has repressed almost entirely. She only remembers that it happened, not what happened. But not even her closest friends are allowed to see the unsure side of Raine. There are some remnants of the rape that remain, such as the scars that mar her body. But it's psychological too. She hasn't really committed to any one boy since, often flirting and flinging instead. She also tends to shy away from bigger men that she's afraid will hurt her, not wanting to be the victim again. All the same, she usually has a smile on her face. Raine doesn't let what people think of her stop her, however, it has never bothered her. She's afraid of speaking in front of crowds for fully different reasons. Such as everyone looking at her scars. With her big personality, people rarely judge her looks, which are beautiful if scarred. She was set to be a dancer before her whole world fell apart, and sometimes you can still catch her doing it because dancing was once her whole entire world. |
