Here is where all town-wide meetings and/or events are held, and as well, it is surrounding the square in which all stores and shops can be found. Be it the blacksmith or an inn, you'll find everything your little heart desires here. This is a more densely populated area during the day, and because of this, thieves often browse through here in hopes to catch something to satisfy their hunger.

Just minutes away from the town square sits a small auction building, surrounded by several sets of corals and holding pens. There will be auctions here regularly, and so those of both lower and higher class are welcome, in order to get a good deal! People are also welcome to come and put something of their own up for auction, be it a horse or a weapon.

Known for it's prestige and good-quality education, Amarillo Academy is certainly the place to be. Teaching Kindergarten to University level classes, this school is currently the only school within all of Texas--however, it only accepts good, hard-working students, who are of a higher class and have money to their name.

Named for the brilliant colors of the setting sun in which looks over the town each and every night, Copper Sky is the residential neighborhood within Amarillo. Streets upon dirt streets of quaint, though unusually cute, houses make up their neighborhood, and despite the unfathomably warm conditions, most folks have lush, green grass, as well as a flower garden out front. It's a very wealthy place, and those of lower-class aren't usually seen lurking about here, unless they're looking to steal from someone of a wealthier background.

A fairly smaller building, the Sheriff's office isn't a very busy place. Seeing as crime rates in Amarillo are lower then the rest of Texas, the holding cells within this building are hardly ever full. Few people pass through here daily, and so usually the sheriff is out patrolling the streets, leaving a guard to "babysit" the petty criminals residing within.

Every place, no matter how pleasant, needs a jail, no? Exactly, and here is Amarillo's. It's a rather massive set of buildings on the outskirts of town, and even though it's a jail, it's still kept in very well condition. Unlike Laredo's jail however, it's very spacious, and the prisoners lucky enough to be housed here are generally thankful. Guards are constantly patrolling this area, so it certainly wouldn't be a good idea to attempt a breakout anytime soon.

Named after the original owner, whom of which was infamous for using Armadillo when beef or pork was scarce, this is a very praised, considerably good restaurant. Small, yet very cozy, most people come here often, in order to indulge in the delicious meals they have to offer. Staff is friendly and inviting, and though it's known for being a pleasant place, armadillo's has kicked out several lower-class people, for not being able to pay in full for their meal.

A massive, beautifully-structured, pristine-looking building indeed, the church is one of Amarillo's finest buildings. With not a single tarnish, it stands in the middle of the town, and is shown the utmost respect from majority of the people in the town. Most civilians come here regularly, as they entire town is made up of generally religious folk, though it's not absolutely needed.

This medium-sized, 60 acre ranch sits on the outskirts of town, and is in considerably good condition. With a splendid, one-story, two-bedroom home and a barn, this is considered an amazing home, to most. The property is surrounded by an older fence that may be in need of repairs soon, though it is still a very good place to live. If you would like to purchase it, please contact Grey by PM.

Board Description
• • amarillo
Surrounded by miles and miles of desert, Amarillo is considered the most "civilized" town, within all of Texas. Not only are the buildings in rather immaculate condition, but the police hardly have to patrol the streets, as the crime rates are surprisingly low. With the exception, of course, of when a gang decides to mosey on through. It's a generally pleasant town though, but if you are of low status, I wouldn't venture here unless you're looking to receive several condescending stares.
