There wasn't too much going on in the town of Laredo lately. And Roxi was getting bored out of her mind because of it. While she didn't want there to be gun fights and bar scuffles every day, she wanted something to happen that would hold her attention. Preferably something that would give her more information about who had killed her family and where she could find those men. Because that was her ultimate goal in the end after all. Her life had been consumed by her need to seek out every last man that was involved in the slaughter of her family and kill them, making sure they knew why they were dying as well. The dark thoughts were what clouded the young twenty one year olds mind these days and her light blue eyes glowed with hate in the dim lighting of the town square.
The sun had set quite awhile ago but there weren't as many people out and about as there normally was. Usually there would be woman standing just outside the brothel trying to usher them into the building. And then there was the drunkards that were usually stumbling around the streets looking for who knows what and tripping all over themselves. Yeah, the night life of Laredo wasn't one to be proud of. It wasn't glamorous or shining but dull and desolate like the town itself. The only thing that kept Roxi in this poor excuse of a town was the fact that it was her hometown and it was also the scene of the crime. Her childhood home had been in this town and she knew that her best bet of finding out any information about her family's killers would be here. Buried in the back of someone's mind. And she had to find it. She just had to.
Making her way to the middle of the square, she paused for a moment before searching the shadows for someone, anyone, but she was alone. Finally giving a sigh of relief, the beautiful brunette made her way across the square towards a wooden fence that sat not far from a tree and a hitching post. Leaning her back up against the fence, she felt anxiety start to eat away at her as she thought of what she would do if she never found her family's killers. As her mind ran rampant, Roxi had o do something with her hands and they absent minded went to her gun in her holster at her hip. Pulling out the gun, her eyes locked on the tree not far from her while her finger hooked in the ring circling the trigger and she spun the gun a few times before catching it in her palm. Her thumb slid up to the barrel before she flipped it to the side so the ammo was visible. Running her thumb over the smooth metal of the bullets, she flipped it closed once more before twirling it a bit longer, her mind focused on her thoughts and not even registering her actions and her hand continued to move the gun around so naturally in her hand.
