[/style]Olivia may be a middle class lady, but her looks are anything but second rate. Her hazel eyes are always alive with enthusiasm and compassion. They miss nothing, as she is ever observant of her surroundings. Although of an average height and weight, Olivia is pretty enough to draw her fair share of attention from the opposite sex. Her rich, dark hair falls wavy to just past her shoulder blades and is rarely ever swept up. Stylish fringe surrounds a petite face with almond shaped eyes, a straight nose and even, pink lips. When she smiles, her entire face lights up and it's impossible to resist smiling along with her.

[/style]Olivia is a deceivingly complex young woman. Raised in a upper class home, with no siblings and a tyrant of a father, she developed a love of knowledge. Although insatiably curious, she's also extremely giving and compassionate. When another being is in need, Olivia will not hesitate to endanger or incriminate herself to "rescue" them. Despite her terrible aim, she is convinced that a gun is a perfect answer to any question she can't verbally answer. Olivia's worse fear is not prison or a noose in a tree, but letting down those who depend on her for aid. She's nearly obsessive over helping the oppressed and downtrodden, being relentless in her attempts to fix their issues. Oddly enough, when Olivia is confronted directly she will rarely stand up for herself - if it pertains to those she helps, she'll stand up for them, but never for herself. This strange state of mind is due to her mother's lessons of extreme, nearly zealous, selflessness. However Olivia's mother did so for appearance in high class society, where as Olivia does so to gain a sense of worth and peace. Olivia's father instilled a hatred of overbearing authority figures in her as a child - indirectly of course. He was blunt to the point of cruelty and controlled every aspect of the girl's day. Now she loathes those who think themselves better than any other being, regardless of sex, color, or monetary worth.
LIKES •
Educating; Enabling others to better their lives is Olivia's most enjoyable task. She feels the most self worth when in the classroom, teaching.
Sketching; Although never having taken lessons, Olivia is quite skilled at drawing. She expresses herself through her artwork.
Reading; When life is completely hectic or something is getting her down, she reads to escape.
DISLIKES •
Crude Behavior She finds vulgar behavior and language repulsive and makes a person sound uneducated.
Back Sass; Olivia believes that people should show proper respect to any hardworking citizen, including teachers.
Tyrants; Raised under an oppressive father, Olivia dislikes being bossed about by heavy handed, self-important people.
WEAKNESSES •
Lost Causes; Olivia can't pass up the opportunity to help a downtrodden soul, even if that means stealing to feed a child or lying to help a battered wife.
Gullible; Sadly, many people take advantage of Olivia's helpful nature, and she falls for almost every sob story she's told.
Submissive; Olivia rarely, if ever, says no. Being confronted directly makes her nervous and derails her train of thought - making her appear dim witted.
STRENGTHS •
Accepting; No matter a person's gender, race or class, Olivia will do her utmost to befriend them and do her best by them.
Educated; Unlike many of the other members of society, Olivia is highly educated. Her book smarts are often useful, allowing her to make sound purchases and come up with believable lies on the spot.
FEARS •
Failure; Olivia is terrified of letting someone who needs her help down. Therefore, when aiding another she does not waiver, despite how it might negatively affect her.
Appearing Unintelligent; Because her education is her only real skill/talent, Olivia worries that others will miss her smarts and view her as a brainless maiden.
"And they've given you a reason to fight."

HISTORY •
Olivia was raised as a proper young lady, however she lost herself in books. Worlds of grandeur and heroics shaped her imagination and personality. As she grew up, her mother taught her to use charity towards others as a way to appear pious in the eyes of high society. However, Olivia's creative and caring mind took the lesson with a twist; she actually enjoyed helping others and never used it for status. Sherman, her father, instilled a deep loathing of tyrants in her. He treated her more as a well bred dog or prized mare, than his own flesh and blood. Shortly after her twentieth birthday, Olivia moved into a town house of her own to escape him. She set herself up as a teacher in Amarillo, moonlighting as a "robin hood" of sorts - doing whatever it takes to help those in need out on the streets of the town.
"And you're not going to take what they've got to give,"

[/style]Walking down the dusty, wind blown street, Olivia watched the sky with dreaming eyes. A few small birds flitted hither tither as if playing chase, the way young children did in the dirt. It had only been a week since she'd spread her own wings and flown from the nest of her family. More like a gilded cage for a bird with clipped wings... Her thoughts only held a slight bitter trace to them, as the day was too lovely to sully with malcontent. The hem of her dress swished slowly over the clay-caked ground, and Olivia gingerly stepped over the small, nearly dry mud puddles. It had rained all day yesterday, yet today was the exact opposite - hot and dry. The breeze was cooling on her face, but her legs sweltered under the layers of petticoats. Summer was far too hot for her tastes. Olivia much preferred Autumn to Summer. The Fall was full of bright yellows and reds, the sky was at its bluest, and the air had that slight nip to it. Sighing wistfully, the teacher continued on her path to the handsomely built school-house.
Across the street, the butcher waved to her, his apron splash-painted with the rusty orange of dried blood and other liquids. Allowing a lady-like smile to grace her lips, she lifted her hand in a similar gesture of greeting. Although she didn't care much for meat, she made a point of buying his older meats to prepare for her unique cat, Tang. The orange and white fluffy feline was a dwarf, his legs far shorter than the average cat's. Tang had been a gift from her mother when she'd left home. A good luck and farewell gift, since Sherman - her father - had no plans of helping her along anymore. Reaching the beautiful, dark oak door of the school-house, Olivia gathered up her skirts and stepped daintily up the stairs. Fixing a stunning smile to her face, she pulled the door open and stepped through. "Good morning, I am Olivia Summers and I shall be your instructor."
"And you're not going to let them take your will to live"
