[/style]With thick, curly, brunette hair and smoldering, chocolate eyes, Marcello is often thought as quite the attractive individual. His skin is bronzed, a clear indicator towards his strong Spanish blood, and he's an extremely fit, muscled man--mostly from years upon years of working in the outdoors. The Mexican has a very profound, defined jawline, as well as plush, soft lips, and his complexion is startlingly good, with very few visible imperfections. He has few freckles, and stands at approximately 6'1, giving him a rather intimidating appearance. As far as attire goes, Marcello likes to look good, though little thought is put into such things.

[/style]With a very soft, gentle disposition and a knack for making the ones around him feel content, Marcello isn't your average, twenty-three year old man. He's a very complex creature, and unlike so many of this day and age, his values are not based off of how much money he has, how many women he's slept with, or even how well off he is. He's happy with his quaint life, or so he pretends to be, forcing a smile to his lips each and every morning he awakes. He tries to be content, even with his past greatly weighing him down each and every day, though he only does so for the people around him, and for his own well-being. Marcello doesn't want to be upset; no one truly does, do they? And so, he tries to keep himself happy.
Though, it rarely works.
Marcello was hurt gravely in the past, and it is clear within the depth of his expression, that he's hardly in high spirits. His mind constantly flickers back to that fateful day where his life changed so dramatically, sometimes involuntarily, leaving the man rather blue, unable to pull himself out of his slum. However, even with such weight on his shoulders, the man is still an oddly kind soul; always helping those in need, and standing up for the ones who are too afraid to. Helping others gives him a sort of fulfillment in which lets him forget about everything that's happened to him, and so, even if it is just temporary, he jumps at the chance.
Now, though Marcello sometimes appears as if he could never harm a fly, that is not the case. As soon as someone he cares about is put at risk his instincts force him out of his shell, and he becomes very protective, sometimes overly so. If he does attach himself to someone, even just a friend, he will do anything for them, no matter what. He's afraid to lose anyone again, and so once he's let you in, he would never betray you.
Finally, Marcello is very passionate. About what, might you ask? Everything. He puts passion into everything he does, as he feels nothing is worth doing if you don't try your hardest. If he does find love again, he'll be a very devoted, passionate, and gentle lover; one to put his woman's needs before himself, and treasure the relationship with more respect then most can fathom. He'll never sleep with a woman unless they're in some sort of relationship as he feels far too guilty for doing otherwise, and though he longs to love again, it will take patience to get him to such a point.

being alone; Although he does enjoy being partially social, at times, Marcello appreciates his alone time more then most may be able to understand. When he's away from the pressures of other beings he can totally relax, and though this leaves him to his thoughts (which may or may not be dangerous), he does rather fancy the silence.
having someone close to him; Though he's afraid to let it happen, Marcello does want to fall in love. He misses the companionship that comes with someone to care about, and not only that, but he misses his ability to love, and be loved in return. But, as I said, even thinking about such a thing does worry him. He's very... conflicted about it, to say the least.
working hard; Often, if Marcello is in his lonesome, he will preoccupy himself with labor, in order to keep himself focused on the tasks at hand, rather then that of his past. He loves working and getting things accomplished, and is rather pleased with himself when he does so.
